Moved by the stories of the previous winners, at the 2013 WAWAA ceremony, the judges suggested that their amazing stories should be recorded and published. We are delighted that the inspiring stories of eighteen winners from the previous two award ceremonies have now been profiled in a book entitled Her.

The welsh noun ‘her’, meaning ‘challenge’, captures the spirit of this book which highlights the challenges faced by these women and how they managed to overcome them. The book was narrated by Dr Cathy Sampson and it was launched at the award ceremony in April 2015.
